We have spoken with so many business owners who have had negative London search marketing stories to tell. And in the main, they all seem to express concern about spending thousands with a London SEO company and never seeing any real results. In many cases, sadly their websites have not even been close to the first page of Google’s search results. They may of ended up with a few social media profiles, or a few pages that exist somewhere out there in the internet wilderness, but never ever to being seen or visited by a single prospective client.
Many of these business owners, that have paid for SEO, have no concept what they are paying for – simply because the search engine optimization company they’ve partnered with just claimed to offer “search engine optimization services” – but did not tell them what they were going to do in order to get them more clients or even offer on-going monthly traffic and ranking reports.
The big London SEO companies have a habit of following an outdated business model that can not deliver the right level of results. This business model is similar to the ones used by big corporations, such as cable or utility companies. This model solely focuses on getting as many clients as they can, without the ability to deliver and maintain the level of quality personal service needed to get real results. A large proportion of their time is wasted in contracting the work out to other countries and organisations in a cookie cutter fashion. And when they don’t get results they tell their clients that Google’s algorithms change so often that it is difficult to get their site to rank much better.
